Bites Camera Action event series premieres July 10

The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce its new 2017 outdoor summer entertainment series, Bites Camera Action. Combining the BID’s popular Fork in the Road food truck events and Deja View outdoor movie series, Bites Camera Action offers six evenings of eats and entertainment outdoors in downtown Albany’s Tricentennial Park.

Bites Camera Action will transform Tricentennial Park with films, food vendors, live music from the area’s best bands and DJs, movie trivia, and games for all ages. A different movie will be screened each event night after food vendors shut down. Bites Camera Action will take place on Mondays from July 10 to August 14, with live music and vendors running from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and movies beginning at 8:30.

The six featured films were chosen by over 1,000 community members who voted in an online survey. The schedule is as follows:
July 10: Back to the Future | Live music by The Graham Tichy Trio
July 31: La La Land | Live music by Bryan Brundige & Crick Diefendorf
August 7: The Goonies | Live music by DJ Mercy [Please note: this event has been canceled due to weather]
