Mohawk Hudson Humane Society Microchip Clinic

Mohawk Hudson Humane Society Microchip Clinic

While Nipper is a local celebrity, most dogs (and cats) don't enjoy as much recognition. That's why it's critical for all pets to wear ID tags and be microchipped for identification, should they ever lose their way from home. Mohawk Hudson Humane Society will be offering a microchip clinic on Wednesday, August 2 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in front of McGeary's Irish Pub, 4 Clinton Square, Albany as part of Nipper Week.

Microchipping will be performed by MHHS veterinary staff in Albany County's Animal Cruelty Response vehicle, which serves as a mobile clinic. The cost is $20 per pet. Cats and dogs are welcome. Cats must be in carriers and dogs on leashes.
