Summary of Event
The Showcase included the recently completed condominium project 17 Chapel and five apartment projects: 518 Broadway, 4-6 Sheridan Avenue, Luxury on Pearl, 374 Broadway, and 60 State Street. Currently, there are seven major residential redevelopment projects underway bringing 24 new condominiums and 93 new apartment units online over the next year.
Check-in for the event was at Tricentennial Park (Broadway and Columbia). A free trolley was available to shuttle participants between the different properties. Interested parties were invited to pre-register.
Admission was $5 per person (free for students with an ID) and included tour access as well as a tour booklet. Information on services, retailers, restaurants, arts and entertainments venues all within walking distance from the residential units was also be available at the Park.
Free parking was available to all tour participants across the street from Tricentennial Park at the Columbia Street Garage (behind Kiernan Plaza) courtesy of the Albany Parking Authority. Participants were asked to show their tour wristbands upon leaving the garage.
