Thank you for visitng Downtown Albany´s Restaurant Week page. The Capital Region´s first and best Restaurant Week returns from September 22 - 27, 2008. In celebration of the upcoming Quadricentennial and the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson´s historic voyage, Restaurant Wee gives patrons a chance to experience three-course meals at some of the region´s greatest dining establishments for only $20.09!

So explore downtown Albany - the perfect place to wine and dine! Award-winning restaurants, casual pubs, sidewalk cafes and lunchtime eateries offer many delicious options for all tastes and occasions.

After dark, come enjoy live music, food and fun at downtown´s numerous vibrant nightspots.

The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to bring back the Capital District’s first – and still the best - Restaurant Week from Monday, September 22 through Saturday September 27!  19 downtown restaurants will offer fixed-price, three-course dinner menus valued at $35 for the low price of $20.09 to herald in the 2009 Quadricentennial and the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s historic voyage in 1609.  Restaurant Week patrons can order from fixed-price menus offering multiple selections of appetizers, entrees and desserts.

 

Participating in September’s Restaurant Week are Albany Mansion Hill Inn, Albany Pump Station, Bayou Café, Café Capriccio, Envy Lounge, Franklin’s Tower, Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood, Jack’s Oyster House, Jillian’s, Kelsey’s Irish Pub, La Serre, Marche at 74 State, Nicole’s Bistro, Pearl Restaurant & Lounge, Pearl Street Public House (formerly Pagliacci’s), Savannah’s, V&R, Victory Café and Webster’s Corner.

 

Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by calling individual restaurants outside the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 

Special Notes:

·         Albany Mansion Hill Inn will be open for Restaurant Week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 25, 26 & 27.  They will begin accepting Restaurant Week reservations on Friday, September 19.
 

·         Café Capriccio is accepting reservations for seatings from Monday, September 22 through Thursday, September 25 only.

·         Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood is closed on Mondays

·         Jillian’s of Albany is offering a complimentary $10 game card with each Restaurant Week dinner!  The card can be used on any of the great games they’re famous for.

·         La Serre will also offer its $20.09 Restaurant Week menu for both lunch and dinner during the promotion!.

·         Marche at 74 State will offer its Restaurant Week menu from Monday, September 22 through Friday, September 26 only.  The promotion will not be available at Marche on Saturday, September 27.

Restaurant Week patrons can enter to win hundreds of dollars in downtown dining gift certificates by filling out a brief survey following each meal. Winners will be chosen at random from all surveys filled out in their entirety. Participating restaurants have donated $50 certificates toward the drawing.

  • 1st Prize: $600   (12 $50 dining certificates)
  • 2nd Prize: $300  (6 $50 dining certificates)
  • 3rd Prize: $100  (2 $50 dining certificates)
