Downtown Residential Conversion & Commercial Rehabilitation Forum HeldThe City of Albany, Capitalize Albany Corporation, and the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District held a Downtown Residential & Commercial Rehabilitation Forum on Wednesday, February 24th at the former FitStop building located at 374 Broadway. The forum was followed by a tour of the newly completed residential conversion project at The Meginniss Flats (370 Broadway). The purpose of the forum was to share development opportunities and new resources available for rehabilitation of vacant or underutilized mid-scale buildings for residential or mixed-use projects in downtown Albany. The forum was targeted at interested developers, investors, and current downtown Albany property owners who are seriously considering redevelopment projects of mid-scale buildings in Downtown Albany.
