This will be an official sister march of the National March for Science, happening in Washington, DC on the same day. In addition to speeches and a 0.6 mile march through the New York State capital, the event will feature numerous family-­friendly, hands-­on science activities - like 'Meet a Scientist,' which sends kids on a scavenger hunt to meet and talk to scientists at the march, exciting speakers, and live music.

Dr. Ashok Ramasubramanian, Storyteller and Professor of Engineering, Union College
Dr. Steve Leibo, Climate Change Communicator and Professor of the Humanities, The Sage Colleges
Dr. Nurcan Atalan-Helicke, Food Resilience Expert and Professor of Environmental Science at Skidmore
Dr. Lisa Campo-Engelstein, Bioethicist and Professor at Albany Medical College
