Bastille just wrapped up the U.S. leg of its extensive “Wild, Wild World Tour” over the weekend – and today the U.K. band announced plans to return to the States for a short jaunt in September. Including a stop at Albany’s Palace Theatre. Frenship will open. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 19, at 10 AM local time.

A live video of Bastille’s Dan Smith and Will Farquarson performing “Bad News” was released today on Vevo. In this intimate “Soundcheck Session,” shot in Vancouver, BC, Smith’s searing falsetto resonates throughout UBC Thunderbird Arena as Farquarson accompanies him on electric guitar prior to the band’s April 2017 show.

“Bad News” is from Bastille’s new album, Wild World (Virgin Records), which also contains the hits “Blame,” now in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart, and “Good Grief,” which charted at No. 1 on Mediabase’s Alternative Airplay chart and has more than 135 million streams globally to date. Wild World, which took Best Album honors at the NME Awards, is the follow-up to Bastille’s 2013 debut album, Bad Blood, which topped the Alternative Albums chart for four weeks and included the 5x Platinum single “Pompeii.”
