Hounds of Halloween Dog Trick-or-Treating Event Returns Saturday, October 20

Dress up your pup for entry into a costumed-canine contest and stop by local businesses for unique Halloween dog treats

Happy Howl-o-ween! On Saturday, October 20, beastly beagles, creepy collies, ghoulish golden retrievers, and spooky schnauzers will return to roam the streets of downtown Albany for the BID's second annual puppy trick-or-treating event: Hounds of Halloween!

Dress up your doggo for the Costumed Canine Contest and stop by local businesses to pick up unique Halloween treats for pups and people. Trick-or-treating will start and end at The Olde English Pub (683 Broadway), which is home to one of the neighborhood's most dog-friendly patios. A $5.00 suggested donation to benefit the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society will get you your handmade Hounds of Halloween trick-or-treating bag and a guide to all the stops!
