Small Business Saturday in Downtown features special deals and events from local restaurants and retailers, and kicks off two weeks of Shop & Savor smAlbany promotions. It's also your first chance to check out the brand new public art program Winter Wonderland, showcasing storefronts creatively decorated by regional artists. Plus, for every purchase, meal, donation, or service you can enter to win a Shop Small tote bag filled with $500 in merchandise and gift cards from Downtown businesses!*

Small Business Saturday deals, promotions, and events available at the following Downtown businesses on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
- Albany Firefighters Museum: Special hours 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM; new notecards, ornaments, and other gifts available for purchase in retail shop.
- Bombshell Hair and Beauty Studio: Black Friday online only gift card sale: purchase $100 in gift cards and receive an additional $50 for free.
- Cafe Capriccio: Gift card specials
- Downtown Studio Fit: online classes available; register on website
- Excelsior Pub: Sale on Excelsior Pub Club memberships; growler giveaway from Growlerwerks: enter to win with each one hour patio table reservation made on the Excelsior Pub website between November 17 and November 28.
- Far Shot Albany: 15% off gift card purchases
- Fort Orange General Store: Local vendor pop-up event; $10 store gift card with each in-store purchase of $100 or more (gift card for a future purchase only, limit one per customer, available for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday)

* To encourage the community to support Downtown’s locally owned and operated businesses during the holiday season, receipts from any purchase made at a Downtown business between November 28 and December 12 can be submitted for a chance to win a Shop Small tote bag filled with $500 in merchandise and gift cards from Downtown businesses.
Customers who submit information on purchases – which includes dining in or ordering out from Downtown restaurants, buying items from Downtown retailers online or in-store, personal care appointments including haircuts, and gift card purchases – will also be entered to win one of six $50 gift cards to a Downtown business of their choice. Participants can receive a bonus entry by making purchases on Small Business Saturday or by using #DowntownAlbany when sharing pictures of their purchases on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Proof of purchase must be submitted to [email protected] by 8:30 AM on Monday, December 14 to be eligible. Each receipt will count toward one entry in the contest; there is no limit to the number of entries a participant can make. No purchase necessary; click here to enter without submitting receipts.
