Celebrating African American Service Women in the Military during Black History Month
African Americans have had a critical role in the history of the U.S. military and the national theme for Black History Month is “African Americans in Times of War.” Albany County will celebrate these women on Monday, February 12 at 10 AM with a panel of veterans who will talk about their experiences as African American soldiers.
