Downtown Albany
About
The Albany County Farmers Market is presented by the Downtown Albany BID, in partnership with Albany County and MVP Health Care. Our goal is to operate a vibrant, open-air market series that provides our neighbors with fresh, high-quality food and artisan goods sourced from local farmers and producers. The market also seeks to strengthen and further activate our neighborhood by providing entertainment, family activities, nutritional education, and support for local nonprofit organizations.
Market Dates
The market will take place every Sunday, July 14-September 29 from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM on S Pearl Street in downtown Albany, in front of the MVP Arena (51 S Pearl Street). The market is free to enter and open to the public.

SNAP & FreshConnect Checks
The Albany County Farmers Market is proud to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and FreshConnect Checks (FCC) as payment options for guests at this year’s market. Making the market accessible to all who want to attend has been priority number one for us and our partners at Albany County and MVP Healthcare. Visit our SNAP booth at the farmers market for detailed instructions on the program, but all customers who have SNAP/EBT cards are eligible to participate.
Find SNAP and FCC participating vendors above by looking for the SNAP icon next to their name:
Additionally, the FCC program allows SNAP users to receive a FREE disbursal of matching funds up to $50 in the form of $2 coupons or “checks.” These checks can be exchanged for the same products eligible for SNAP, and users will receive them along with the tokens they withdraw at the market’s SNAP booth.
