The Social Enterprise and Training (SEAT) Center is missioned to assist young adults in transforming their lives and their communities through education, training, community mobilization, and sustainable wage jobs. They offer historic, residential, and commercial fee-for-service work that delivers community impact at a competitive price. We provide access to career development and academic support services including accredited training in Green Construction, Weatherization and Healthcare.

In its Downtown Albany location, SEAT runs a culinary program, teaching young people basic front- and back-of-house skills to introduce them to careers in the culinary and hospitality industries. Students earn their Restaurant Ready certification from the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation as well as their ServSafe Food Handlers and Allergens certificates.
