Chef Yono's menu is an extremely personal one, with half of the menu featuring a unique blend of his native Indonesian cuisine with French presentations, and the remaining half being inspired from an eclectic Global Cuisine, seeking influence from other parts of the Orient, the Mediterranean and of course France.
Owned and operated by the Purnomo family, it has been a restaurant for memorable dining experiences since 1986 and has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation, Wine Spectator, Santé, DiRoNA & The American Culinary Federation among others.
The restaurant features Chef Yono Purnomo’s signature blend of contemporary American cuisine with Indonesian influence utilizing seasonal, farm fresh ingredients from Upstate New York and beyond. Yono’s is the longest tenured Four Star restaurant in the region. For all things sweet, Chef Yono turns the kitchen over to his partner in business and life, his wife Chef Donna Purnomo who proposes a selection of ten desserts nightly, featuring the renowned Chocolate Rendezvous.
