The Downtown Albany BID and City of Albany host Eclipse Day on the Skyway with DJ Tall Matt on April 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM.
Join us on the Skyway in downtown Albany to take in this once in a lifetime cosmic event, as legendary DJ Tall Matt sets the mood. The first 500 guests to arrive will receive a pair of one-of-a-kind commemorative #AlbToTheCore eclipse viewing glasses.
To everyone watching in Albany, the eclipse will begin at 2:12 PM, reaching a peak totality of 96.6% at 3:26 PM, and ending at 4:36 PM. Stop by on your lunch break before the eclipse to snag your glasses and enjoy ice cream from Boozy Moo! while you wait for the show to start. Popcorn will be provided courtesy of ParkAlbany.
