Join the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame for our third annual Induction Gala on August 26, 2023, at the MVP Arena, Albany, NY, where Ric Flair won his first WWE title, the infamous Steve Austin Beer Bath incident occurred, and where Edge cashed in the first Money in the Bank briefcase, along with many other memorable wrestling moments.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:05 PM EST at the Albany Stadium Restaurant, which we call WTBS (Wrestlers Talkin' Before the Show) in honor of the traditional television start time for pro wrestling on the TBS network for many years. The informal cocktail hour is followed by an elegant and intimate dinner with wrestlers, special guests, friends, and fans.
This year's hosts will be WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and Road Trip After Hours host Mac Davis providing entertainment and commentary. A banquet dinner is served to attendees as IPWHF executives and honored guests present awards, including the Rocky Johnson "Medal of Mettle", the Trailblazer Award, and the Excelsior Award. This year's award recipients are Joe Defino, Christine "Teeny" Jarrett, and SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio's Dave LaGreca!
As a dinner guest, you will witness pro wrestling history as the IPWHF Class of 2023 is inducted into the Hall of Fame. Inductees present will receive their Hall of Fame ring and witness their bronze plaques be installed on the "Wall of Fame" at the IPWHF museum in the MVP Arena.
