Family-Friendly Community Day

Historic Cherry Hill hosts annual Community Day on August 8 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This free event invites families and community members of all ages to join in an afternoon of fun, learning, and celebration.

• Free Museum Tours: Our History is Now summer teen docents from the Summer Youth Employment Program will be giving room tours, sharing their knowledge about the house and its historic artifacts.
• Scavenger Hunts: Exciting scavenger hunts will be available both inside the museum and on the grounds, offering a fun challenge for kids and adults alike.
• Historical Costumes and Games: Step back in time with historical costumes and games that bring history to life.
• Snacks and Ice Cream: Enjoy snacks and ice cream throughout the event.

Community Day is designed to be a family-friendly event, welcoming everyone to participate and enjoy the historic site. It's the perfect way to celebrate community spirit and engage with local history before the fall season begins.
