During First Friday Albany, different neighborhoods host open houses, special events, live music, artist receptions, exhibitions, and more throughout the evening. This first Friday, The Opalka Gallery is launching a Pop Up Beer Garden Series. Margo Singer is the resident exhibition for September at the City Hall Rotunda. Common Roots Albany Outpost is playing host to two artists and is also hosting a Pop Up Book Shop. The Albany Institute of History & Art will offer extended hours on First Friday from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM and El Loco will be offering 2-for-1 margaritas on First Fridays from 5:00 PM until close.
