Pearl Street Diner hosts Holiday Fundraiser Cook Off on Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 AM.
Three teams will compete against each other in this cook-off benefitting the South End Children's Cafe for the holiday.
There will be a raffle deciding what order the teams will go in and what dish they have to create given the fresh ingredients they will have at there disposal and the entire kitchen to cook with.
Local TU food Critic, Steve Barnes, will be the judge. Come and see these three teams battle to win the cook off for a good cause!
The teams are:
Team Soares With The Albany County DA's Office (Albany County DA. David Soares as chef and 2 assistants)
Team Hawkins With The City of Albany Police Department (Chief Hawkins as chef and 2 assistants)
Team Gregory With the Albany City Fire Department (Fire Chief Gregory as chef and 2 assistants.)
Prizes for the winning team will be 3 Professional Chef Aprons and a Professional Chef's Knife set!
