Grab your greenest garb and head to downtown Albany for the St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 15, at 2:00 PM. The parade steps off from Lexington and Central Avenues and ends at State and Green Streets.

 

Below is a list of events, promotions, and food and drink specials on parade day leading to St. Patrick's Day in Downtown. You won't need luck to find something to do to celebrate this holiday—see below for details! Check back regularly for updates.


Saturday, March 15 (Parade Day):
 

Ascend Wellness (59 North Pearl St): This concierge medical practice will be open for rehydration drips/celebration drips (aka hangover drips) by appointment only with early sign-up. Must register by 5:00 PM Friday, March 14, to receive treatment. View special offers and sign up here.

Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe (10 Sheridan Ave): This establishment is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Downtown on parade day with giveaways, drink specials, a photo booth, corned beef sandwiches, and more. Check out their Facebook page for updates on the celebration!

Loch & Quay (414 Broadway): This Irish pub is offering $6 Guinness and Kilkenny beers and $6 shots of Jameson and Tullamore Dew. The kitchen will have corned beef specials from noon to 6:00 PM. Learn more.

McGeary's Irish Pub (4 Clinton Sq): This Irish pub will open at 10:00 AM and will have a tent, food truck, music, and bagpipers.

Ophelia's on Broadway (388 Broadway): This bar, restaurant, and music venue opens early at 10:00 AM and will host local band Meat Chickenz at 1:00 PM. Learn more.

Sunday, March 16:

Monday, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day):

Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe (10 Sheridan Ave): This establishment is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Downtown on St. Patrick's Day with cocktail specials. Check out their Facebook page for updates on the celebration!

Maurice’s Delicatessen (50 S Pearl St): This Downtown deli will feature their hand-carved corned beef on rye with swiss and mustard sandwich or Rueben sandwich. Their dinner special is a Reuben with cabbage and potatoes.  

McGeary's Irish Pub (4 Clinton Sq)There will be music from noon to 3:00 PM and again at 5:00 PM at this Downtown Irish pub, with bagpipe performances throughout the day. It opens at 11:00 AM. 

The Yard Hatchet House & Bar (16 Sheridan Avenue): This ax-throwing bar will offer $1 off Guinness and two scoops of Boozy Moo Ice Cream for the price of one and feature a special St. Patrick's Day Float, "Luck of the Irish," for $5 off. 

 Viva Empanadas (90 N Pearl St): This Latin-American restaurant and bar will have Irish cream tres leches cake and a St. Patrick's mojito happy hour.
