Details Announced for "Downtown is Pawsome" Statue Auction
The Downtown is Pawsome sculptures, based on Albany's famous landmark canine statue "Nipper" and colorfully customized by talented regional artists, have enlivened Downtown's streets and are now in search of forever homes! Join us on Friday, September 21, for your opportunity to own a unique work of art and piece of Albany history.

The $10 ticket price includes light fare. A cash bar will be available. The event will feature a LIVE AUCTION with Jaime Roberts of 98-3 TRY as well as a SILENT AUCTION with online/mobile bidding. FREE PARKING is available at Quackenbush Garage!
Location: The Garden at The Olde English Pub (683 Broadway)

IMPORTANT: In order to participate in the SILENT auction, you must first download the free Handbid app and register with your payment information. You do not have to attend the event in person if you only want to participate in the silent auction.

IMPORTANT DETAILS AND FINE PRINT:
- Upon arriving at the event tomorrow evening, please make sure to check-in at the registration table and retrieve your paddle and program if you plan on participating in the LIVE auction.
- If you would also like to participate in the SILENT auction, you must download the free app Handbid to your mobile device. We recommend completing this prior to your arrival at/the beginning of the event.
- You must include your credit/debit card into Handbid to participate in the silent auction.
- Once you have downloaded Handbid, you can either search for "Downtown is Pawsome Auction" or follow this link to register as a bidder for the silent auction: https://events.handbid.com/auctions/downtown-is-pawsome-auction
- Please make sure you enable push notifications for Handbid from your device so you know when the silent auction opens and can track your bid's progress.
- We strongly recommend picking up your sculpture or bringing it home with you after the auction as opposed to shipping. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and obtaining shipping estimates.Pickup or shipping of sculpture must be arranged within five (5) days of purchase.
- Sculpture has been weather-sealed, but indoor locations are strongly recommended. The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District is not responsible for any weather-related damage.
