Downtown Albany BID Announces New Assistant Director

ALBANY, NY - The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce Schuyler Bull as their new Assistant Director. Mr. Bull will be managing the staff and overall day-to-day operations of the organization, while providing expertise on marketing, special events, and urban issues. He will also work with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to create and implement strategic planning initiatives to develop and sustain a vibrant downtown.

“We are delighted that Schuyler has joined our team,” states Georgette Steffens, Executive Director of the Downtown Albany BID. “His knowledge and energy will add to the exciting momentum that exists in downtown, with millions of dollars in development bringing real change to the fabric of our streets.”

Mr. Bull most recently served as director of marketing for the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau, where he developed and implemented all marketing, media, and public relations strategies for the organization, elevating Albany’s status as an attractive tourism destination in the Northeast. In 2014, Schuyler was honored by Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) as a “30 Under 30” destination marketing professional.

Mr. Bull is a dual BS/MBA graduate of The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where he also currently serves as an adjunct instructor and vice-chair on the Board of Associates.
