M&T Bank Unveils Renovated Downtown Branch
Following extensive renovations that took place mid-January through May 2019, M&T Bank has unveiled its updated branch at 80 State Street in Downtown.
Remaining open during the project, features include new flooring, LED lighting, and technology in an open floor plan that was modernized with new teller lines, a redesigned front vestibule, and customer seating areas.
“The renovation of our branch demonstrates M&T Bank’s long-term commitment to Albany and our customers,” said M&T Bank’s Market President Beth Beshaw. “I am thrilled that we can provide our customers with a new look that’s bright, warm and welcoming. I encourage all to stop by and enjoy our new look.”
“When businesses invest in their operations and grow their presence, it’s a sign our local economy is strong and growing stronger,” said Mark Eagan, president and CEO of the Capital Region Chamber, who served as emcee for the ribbon-cutting event. “M&T Bank’s investment in its downtown Albany location adds fuel to our collective push for greater economic prosperity in the Capital Region.”
Local elected officials, M&T employees and many of its customers gathered to celebrate the official unveiling of the remodeled State Street branch, which has supported the downtown community for more than 20 years providing banking services to residents and workers.
