#NIPPERQUEST - Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt 2017
How well do you know the Downtown neighborhood? Here's a fun way to find out - and maybe find your new favorite restaurant or retailer!
The Downtown Albany BID will host a Downtown "Nipper Quest" Scavenger Hunt all day on Small Business Saturday, November 25. Free to participate! Download the #NipperQuest guide here.
Prizes up for grabs are:
- GRAND PRIZE: Overnight stay at the Renaissance Albany Hotel, including garage parking, breakfast for 2, and a $50 gift certificate to Wellington's restaurant.
- Two $100.00 Gift certificates to B. Lodge & Co.
- $50.00 Gift certificate to Parish Public House
- $50.00 Gift certificate to the Olde English Pub
How does the #NipperQuest scavenger hunt work?
- Pick up your #NipperQuest guide at Handmade at the Hollow between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on November 25.
- Your job is to find as many Nipper holiday posters throughout the businesses of Downtown and snap a picture (look for posters that resemble the image on this page)
- You will have until 11:59 PM on Saturday, November 25 to post your photos on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #NipperQuest.
- The scavengers who found the most #NipperQuest posters will win the grand prize. There will also be prizes given out for the most creative & most festive photo(s).
- In order to participate accurately, you must write "#NipperQuest" somewhere in the caption of the photo so we can find it on social media or tag the Downtown Albany BID on Facebook (@albanybid), Twitter (@albanybid) or Instagram (@Downtownalbany).
Guides can be picked up at the Handmade at the Hollow event from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at The Hollow Bar + Kitchen, located at 79 N. Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12207,
