Science Cafe Returns
It's covered birding and evolution - next, it will will take on historical archaeology. What is "it"? It's The Science Cafe, and it returns October 17 at 6:00 PM at City Beer Hall with the program titled "Beverwijck, a 17th-c. Dutch Village, Above and Below Ground".
The New York State Museum is partnering with the Downtown Albany BID and City Beer Hall to offer this rousing discussion about the history of Albany with Dr. Michael T. Lucas curator of Historical Archaeology and Dr. Charles T. Gehring, director of the New Netherland Research Center. This fun, interactive, FREE series has drawn all ages and is a great way to learn and join a conversation with experts.
Food and drink are not included, but will be available for purchase. Registration not required - but it's suggested you arrive early to get a good spot.
