Watch the Albany Firebirds in their Semifinal Game on Saturday at MVP Arena

The Albany Firebirds, the city’s arena football team, will face the Salina Liberty on Saturday, July 13, at MVP Arena in a semifinal matchup. The Firebirds, the second seed in the Arena Football League playoffs, finished the regular season at 7-2. On Saturday, they face the league’s third-seeded Liberty, which finished the regular season with a 6-2 record and defeated the Southwest Kansas Storm in the first round of the playoffs. Tickets for this must-see game can be purchased on TicketMaster. The game will also air on CBS Sports Network at 2:30 PM.       

The Firebirds have won four of their five home games played at MVP Arena this season. Attendance for their last two Saturday games was close to 5,000. If the Firebirds win against the Liberty on Saturday, they will advance to ArenaBowl XXXIII on July 19. The game will be held at American Dream, an entertainment and retail center in East Rutherford, N.J.
