Single Space Meters:

Payments for single space parking meters can be made with credit cards or coins (quarters, dimes, nickels, and $1 coins) or through the ParkAlbany Mobile App.

 

Multi-Space Meters:

To use a multi-space parking meter, simply enter your license plate number and the zone number of where you are parked, you do not need to display your parking receipt when using a multi-space meter. Zone numbers can be found on the sides of the multi-space meter and on nearby street signage. Payments for multi-space parking meters can be made with credit cards or coins (quarters, dimes, nickels, and $1 coins) or through the ParkAlbany Mobile App.  

 

Free Night and Weekend Parking:

Metered parking spaces within the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District boundaries are free after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends and major national holidays. View District boundaries here.

 

Street parking in downtown Albany is managed by the Albany Parking Authority (518.434.8886). Please be sure to take note of the zone and parking regulations signs in the area you are parked in.
