Rivkin Radler moves 26 employees, regional office to Downtown
Nationally-recognized law firm Rivkin Radler has moved their regional office to Downtown, an event celebrated on November 7 as partners and staff were joined by the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District, Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan, and Assemblymember John T. McDonald III for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Located at 66 S Pearl Street, the move comes as partners sought the benefit of a central business district location; the new office is home to 26 employees, including seven attorneys named to the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Lawyers list.
With over 20 practice areas, Rivkin Radler offers communication in over 15 languages and represents individuals, middle-market companies, and large corporations. The 11th floor, 10,600-square-foot space, led by partners Richard Frankel, Carol Hyde, Robert Iseman, James Lagios, John Queenan, and Karen Sosler, has room to hold the current 14 attorneys and staff members with room to grow.
Founded in 1950, many of Rivkin Radler attorneys have received Martindale Hubbell’s AV Preeminent® ranking, signifying that “a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence,” and have been recognized as leaders by peer review programs, including Best Lawyers/U.S. News & World Report and Super Lawyers. The firm is also listed by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500. The firm is nationally recognized and was named an American Lawyer Media “Go-To” Firm by its clients, and is among the National Law Journal’s 250 largest firms in the U.S.
The Downtown location was fully renovated for Rivkin Radler, offering a more contemporary, efficient and open setting than the mansion they’d previously operated out of. Officially having opened in Downtown on October 7, benefits of the move from Washington Park area became immediately clear through the technologically advanced and dynamic new offices and proximity to current and future clients.
