Olde English Downtown Dog Park


Local and visiting dogs alike will feel right at home inside downtown Albany's Olde English Downtown Dog Park.

 

This sizable grassy space offers Fidos of all sizes a fenced area to run and play off leash.

 

Waste bags and benches are available, as well as large rocks where pooches can climb, and a beautiful mural featuring some of Albany's best four-legged friends.

 

The park is open daily/year-round from dawn to dusk and is free of charge.

Three Class A - Property Owner Board Positions each available for a three-year term starting in May 2018.

New York State Holiday Tree Lighting, Celebration & Fireworks Show


The annual New York State Holiday Tree Lighting at Empire State Plaza is scheduled for December 3 from 1:00PM - 8:00PM!

21st Annual Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park


The 21st Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park drive-through runs from November 24, 2017, until January 2, 2018. The 2017 edition is an all-new, drive-through spectacular with more than 125 displays and scenes in Albany’s Washington Park.

Albany City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony & Open House


Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan will host a tree lighting ceremony in front of Albany City Hall on Wednesday, November 30 at 5:30 PM in honor of the holiday season. City Hall will be open from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with refreshments, music, vendors and informational tables.

Adorn - A Festival of Trees with a Twist!


Please join the Albany Visitors Center for this inaugural event, showcasing dress forms decorated in the holiday spirit by 7 area artists. All dress forms are available for purchase, with proceeds to benefit the artists’ charities of choice.

The event at the Albany Heritage Area Visitor's Center is part of the downtown Albany Holiday Market and is free and open to the pubic. Donations are requested at the door.
