Crystal Conversations

The African American Cultural Center of the Capital Region will host Crystal Conversations March 20, 27, and April 3 at 5:00PM. 

Crystal Conversations is an introduction to geological healing methods for all ages with Theresa Ford of Theresa with Intention.

HV Gamer Con

Esport teams from 18 colleges will head to the Albany Cap Center for HV Gamer Con March 30-31, competing for college scholarships by going head to head in Overwatch, Fortnite, and League of Legends. Tickets $14-$39. 

The conference and expo will feature the ECAC Esports Championships presenting three popular game titles, inlcuding Overwatch, League of Legends, and Fortnite.

Trip to Irish Rep Theater to see O'Casey play

The Shadow of a Gunman premiered at The Abbey Theatre in 1923 to immediate success, selling out tickets for the first time in Abbey history, and establishing Sean O'Casey's career as a playwright at age 43. The first of The Dublin Plays, this two-act work is written in O'Casey's characteristic tragicomic style. It's 1920, and the Irish War of Independence rages on the streets of Dublin as Irish revolutionaries clash with British auxiliary forces.

Granuaile Pirate Queen

An event to mark Women's History Month, come join us for the true tale of Granuaile, (Grainne Mhaol) Ireland's Pirate Queen as told by storyteller, Marni Gillard. O'Malley's life has inspired many musicians, novelists, and playwrights to create works based on her life and adventures. Family-friendly entertainment - $7 members, $10 nonmembers. Family tickets available.

Annual Green Tie Luncheon

Join the Irish American Heritage Museum at the Capital District Irish American Association (home of the Albany Ancient Order of Hibernians and Ladies AOH) for an afternoon of friendship, music, raffles, food, and good fun. $20.
